well this just tickled me to no end when i placed the cucumber salt and pepper shakers next to this pretty pair on the mantle for my photo shoot of vintage pieces recently listed in my etsy shop. i have to find ways to amuse myself-- juxtaposing unlikely objects is one of my favorite ways to give myself a chuckle...

ReplyDelete...i may just have a dirty mind(?!) but i also think that's an awfully sexy juxtaposition, to boot! i love how the color travels beautifully from the cucumbers to the flowers...the link that gives the unlikely pair total cohesion! brilliant. ;)

ReplyDeleteKathi--what a sentiment--after my own heart! I loved the funny juxtaposition--so fitting. Look at my next treasury for exactly that theme, but I'm not using the cukes, I'm using the tin cups (if they haven't been bought yet), in that just-so-unstable position...:-D
ReplyDeleteOh--drats! They have just sold! I might use the image anyway, as I know this t won't make fp...such insinuations rarely do...that's why they are so good, and I've been meaning to tell admin that they could well figure it into their marketing as so many women frequent etsy. ;-)
